Many entrepreneurs acknowledge the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) but often lack clear steps for its implementation in their daily operations. The question is no longer whether to use AI, but how to deploy it in a straightforward, reliable, and business-specific manner. COMPUTD and SIBON are collaborating to offer practical guidance. In this one-day workshop, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of AI and learn how to align it with their business processes, all without requiring technical knowledge.

The Program

This workshop is divided into two powerful modules. The morning program, Introduction to AI, provides foundational clarity: an understandable introduction to modern AI, covering key concepts and terminology to enable navigation within AI with confidence. We transition this knowledge into action during the afternoon program, AI in Practice. Here, participants will learn the mechanisms that make AI tools smart enough to autonomously execute tasks. They will then work in small teams on a practical use case that directly relates to daily operations, developing a solution or prototype that can save time and costs.

Practical AI Use Cases

During the workshop each group chooses a real situation from daily work. Groups work with their own example so they can see how AI supports tasks, reduces effort and helps the team stay organised. These use cases are based on real situations inside sign companies and show how AI make operations more efficient.

AI turns an unclear request with photos and loose details into a clear internal task.

Internal task allocation

AI converts a customer briefing into a structured task list for DTP, production and installation.

Streamlining customer communication

AI summarises long emails and highlights the key questions and follow up actions.

Customer briefing for signage projects

AI brings together logos, dimensions and scattered messages into one clear instruction for both client and team.

Email structuring

AI reads incoming messages, identifies their category and creates a simple overview of tasks.

DTP checklist

AI checks design files for completeness and generates a checklist for fonts, resolution and crop marks.

Planning support

AI assists with estimating time and preparing a clear plan for project based assignments.

Work order for installation team

AI converts a complex client email into a clear and complete work order for the field crew.

Quotation preparation

AI structures quotation requests, points out missing details and prepares a checklist the client can complete.
